The KTH Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) is a Swedish technical university that participates in the project through its Division of Electromagnetics and Fusion Science. Role in the project: 1) Coordinate the project execution. 2) Leading the research around ponderomotive radiofrequency-plugging 3) Contributing to the understanding of the ambipolar potential. KTH will also be leading and coordinating all communication and dissemination activities.

The National Science Center Kharkiv Institute of Physics and Technology (NSC KIPT) is a research organization belonging to the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine. Role in the project: 1) Leading research of ambipolar plugging including plasma heating (Electron Cyclotron Resonance Heating (ECRH) and Ion Cyclotron Resonance Heating (ICRH) 2) Contributing to research around ponderomotive radiofrequency (RF) plugging and diagnostics.

Novatron Fusion Group AB (NFG) is a Swedish energy technology start-up. Its mission is to accelerate the development of fusion power and bring it to the grid in record time. Role in the project: 1) Design of tandem magnetic field that will enable ambipolar and radiofrequency plugging. 2) Contributing to ponderomotive plugging, theory around ambipolar plugging, heating and diagnostics. 3) Prepare for industrialization of the Novatron technology.

InnoEnergy (KIC SE) is the European company for innovation and entrepreneurship in sustainable energy. As a hands-on investor in early-stage business cases, KIC SE de-risks and accelerates cleantech business cases in line with EU de-carbonization objectives. Role in the project: 1) Handle the project innovation management activities. 2) Prepare the stage for industrialization and large-scale deployment of the Novatron technology.

Role in the project: 1) Leading the diagnostics for the crucial evaluation of the energy confinement time. 2) Aiding in the plasma heating process to establish the ambipolar potential.
